Refund Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Effective date: September 16, 2026
This policy is designed to protect customers while recognizing that digital files and reserved creative time cannot always be recovered or resold. A specific signed project agreement may modify these terms for that project.
1. Digital beat licenses and downloads
Digital beat-license purchases are final once download access or license access is provided. We will correct duplicate charges, replace a corrupt or inaccessible file, and provide any remedy required by law. Contact us within 14 days if the delivered files do not match the order or cannot be accessed. A change of taste, project direction, or nonuse of the beat does not create a refund right.
2. Song Blueprint session
A Blueprint purchase may be cancelled for a refund if written notice reaches us at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. Nonrefundable third-party processing fees may be deducted only when the processor does not return them and applicable law permits the deduction.
3. Blueprint rescheduling
A customer may reschedule a Blueprint session once without an additional fee by giving at least 24 hours written notice. A cancellation within 48 hours, a reschedule request with less than 24 hours notice, or a no-show is nonrefundable, although we may make a written exception for an emergency. If we must cancel and cannot offer a reasonable replacement time, we will refund the session fee.
4. Blueprint production credit
When the offer states that the $149 Blueprint fee may be credited toward qualifying production booked within seven days, the credit is applied once to the stated qualifying service. It has no cash value, cannot exceed the production price, and is not separately refundable after it is applied.
5. Custom production reservation
Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, 50 percent of the project price reserves production time. The reservation payment is refundable before production work begins, less nonrefundable third-party processing fees and any separately approved costs. Once research, composition, programming, recording, editing, or other production work begins, the reservation payment becomes nonrefundable.
6. Customer cancellation after work begins
If the customer cancels after work begins, the nonrefundable reservation payment compensates for reserved time and work performed. The customer must also pay for approved third-party costs and any completed work beyond the reservation amount if the signed agreement uses milestones or hourly overages. No license to incomplete or unpaid work is granted unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Studio cancellation
If we cancel a project and cannot provide the agreed work within a reasonable revised schedule, we will refund unearned amounts paid for the cancelled portion. We are not responsible for indirect losses caused by a cancellation, subject to applicable law.
8. Revisions and scope changes
The Custom Exclusive Production currently includes up to three revision rounds. The Three-Song Artist Sprint currently includes up to two revision rounds per song. Additional rounds are $75 each unless the signed agreement states otherwise. A new creative direction, replacement song, or material scope expansion may require a new quote. Rush delivery, when available, adds 40 percent unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Chargebacks
Contact us first so we can investigate a billing or delivery issue. An improper chargeback does not terminate an accepted license, erase amounts owed, or authorize use of unpaid work. We may suspend access or licenses while a payment dispute is pending to the extent permitted by law.
10. How to request a cancellation or correction
Send the order name, purchaser email, order date, and requested resolution to tdirtyonthebeat@sleepfighterstudios.com. Do not send payment-card numbers or account passwords.
